Hazaribagh Wedding Reception Fight: Six Injured Amidst Cheating Allegations

Hazaribag: Six people were injured after the families of the bride and groom clashed during their marriage reception party at a hotel under Korrah police station limits on May 3. The clash erupted as families accused each other of cheating and withholding information before marriage.Arti Pandey, a resident of Barkagaon, married a Shahdanand Tiwari of Pauta village in Sadar block on May 1. During the reception on May 3, the bride’s family alleged the groom’s family took away her jewellery and phone after the marriage. Six persons were injured in the fight and admitted to Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital. Police intervened, rescued the bride, detained two persons, and began an investigation.
